Inkscape and Illustrator often leave comments and extra namespaces that bloat icons. This pass removes comments, common editor attributes and extra spaces so the file is smaller to ship.

It is a conservative minify, not a full vector rewrite. Always preview the SVG after you download it.

Comment l’utiliser

  1. Paste SVG markup or drop an .svg file.
  2. Click Optimise and compare the byte sizes.
  3. Copy or download, then open the file to confirm it still draws correctly.

FAQ

Will this break my SVG?

It only strips comments, some editor attributes and extra whitespace. Preview the result. Complex filters should still be checked by eye.

Is this the same as SVGO?

No. SVGO has many plugins. This is a smaller, fully in-browser cleanup with no install.

Do you keep a copy of my SVG?

No. Markup stays in this tab.
