Software Licence Agreement

Subject to payment, GraphicByte grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence (except as in section 8) to use the product you bought, in object form and, where we supply it, source form, only as this agreement allows. We keep all intellectual property rights.

One purchase licences the files for one community or brand (for example one Discord server, Minecraft community, YouTube channel or Twitch channel) unless the product says otherwise. You may edit colours, text and layout for that brand. You may not resell the source files, share them publicly, or include them in a template pack you charge for. Minecraft graphics are branding assets only — this licence is not a Minecraft server-list, hosting or plugin product.

This section applies only to products sold as licensed software on /software. We do not currently sell Minecraft server-list scripts, PTC scripts or competition websites. Unless the product page names another type, a software purchase is licensed as follows:

• Activations: the number of production domains or machines stated on the product (often one). A staging copy of the same project is allowed if it is not a second public product.
• Extra installs: each extra public domain, machine or separate business needs another licence unless the product page says otherwise.

If we supply source, you may modify it for your licensed installations. You may not remove licence checks, copyright notices or GraphicByte branding where the product requires them, publish the source, or create a competing product from it. Modified copies stay licensed to you; they are not yours to sell.

Resale, lease, sublicensing, nulled copies, public git dumps and sharing of licence keys are prohibited. You may not use a GraphicByte product to offer a competing hosted service to third parties unless the product page expressly allows it.

Purchase includes updates we release for that product for 12 months from the order date, unless the product page states a shorter or longer period. After that, updates may require a renewal. We do not promise that every PHP, host or browser version will stay supported forever.

Email support for installation and defects is included for 30 days from purchase unless the product page states a longer period. Support does not include custom features, server administration, or work caused by your modifications. Custom graphics have support as described in the quote.

You may ask us to transfer a licence to a new owner or domain (see Licence Verification Terms). We may revoke a licence if you do not pay, we refund the order, you charge back without a valid consumer claim, or you materially breach this agreement and do not fix it within a reasonable time after notice. After revocation you must stop using the product and destroy copies.
